You may recall that a while back we had blogged about the great success we had having projects funded on Donors Choose. Recently, we found out about a site that had partnered with Donors Choose to help fund projects. The site, OO.com, posts all projects from Donors Choose that relate to technology. Projects that have the most votes get funded. It’s as simple as that! To date, they’ve donated close to $1,000,000 and have funded 1,366 projects!
In order to vote, you will need to sign up for an account with OO.com. It’s quick and easy and you don’t need to purchase anything to do so. Once you’re signed up, there are three ways that you can vote. You can visit the site and “vote” for our project daily. You can also “like” our project on Facebook. One Facebook like will give us 10 votes. Finally, if you do decide to do some shopping on OO.com (and there are some pretty good deals, especially with local restaurants), you will earn WOW points. After you’ve earned the WOW points, you can donate them to any project. Every WOW point donated is equivalent to 20 votes!
Our latest project is for two iPads that we can use for some amazing projects in the classroom. We’re really hoping that you’ll take a moment each day to vote for us.
