Everyone has been doing a great job with the blog this year. Many have been taking time outside of school to write comments, reply to others who have commented, and have been visiting other blogs from around the world. Due to their dedication, I knew that these students would do an amazing job sharing their stories and connecting with others through their own blog!

Congratulations to all the new student bloggers! Your blog titles sound very intriguing. Our class is leaving our very first blog comment right now! We think that we will have a lot to learn from you.
We have a couple suggestions for topics your students could write about. Ashley recommends discussing current sports topics. Joe would like to read about current events. Ben thinks it would be interesting to hear about what you are learning in class. Claire thinks hearing about daily activities would be fun. ALexis would like to hear about your favorite places to visit.

Gee that’s a lot of new blogs. I will have to create links to them on our school blogs and encourage my students’ to visit so you get some Aussie flags 🙂
I think you can write about anything as long as it is appropriate and respectful of others. Sometimes what can seem so ordinary to the author can be extraordinary for the reader. For example you may think that your life and interests are very similar to life in Australia but they can also very different and it is wonderful to view that life through a different lens sometimes 🙂
