We recently had our spring concert. Every year, throughout the course of the year, the fifth and sixth grade classes meet every Friday with our music teacher, Mrs. Cardinal. They then put on two concerts, one right before our winter break and one in May. Every single time they do an absolutely incredible job.
The theme for this concert was “Songs of Disney.” When you think of Disney songs, there are definitely some incredible ones that pop right into your head. We put together a short video clip sharing a couple of our favorites. See if you can recognize what either of them are or where they’re from!
What’s your favorite Disney song?
Do you have chorus at your school?
Dear Mr. Avery,
I remember that concert as if it was yesterday. I’m excited to have another one this year! ๐ I think that we should do a really big thing at the end of it to surprise everybody.
From Jacob
To Mr Avery,
We enjoyed your slide show. Do you have a museum in your school? We really like the song. Do you have any Triceratops fossils at your school? Do you know how to say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious? Do you know lion king? What are you learning in class? Have you made fossils in your class? We love learning about dinosaurs.

Have you made a fossil before?
We love learning about dinosaurs.
From Brayden and Sam.
Dear Brayden and Sam,
That is wonderful you enjoyed our songs.
No, we have not made a fossil, but what fun that would be!

To Mr. Averey’s class,
We enjoyed your video and your song, especially Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. How did you remember all the words?! My favourite part of the video was the Triceratops fossil because we are learning about dinosaurs.
Do you have a museum at your school? Are there dinosaurs in your museum? What are you learning your classroom? What else do you do at recess and lunch time?
From your quad-blogging buddies Jake and Cooper.
(Leopold)
Dear Jake And Cooper,
Well to memorize all the words to the song, we had to practice a lot. Than we had to stand for like an hour or so. But in the end those were the results. We don’t have a museum in our school but that would be really cool. but if we did i bet we would have dinosaur bones and stuff along those lines. Well lately we’ve been working on these math calenders. After that were going to make these Kites and were going to fly them. Well at recess we usually play soccer go on the swing or walk around talking to our friends. At lunch we eat and talk to our friends.

Dear Mr. Avery’s class.
We do not have a chorus we have a group that sings at Leopold Primary School and we call it a choir. My favourite Disney show is the Lion King.
From James in 2MD
Dear James,
I did not know that! Do you like you Choir, or would you rather have a chorus? I would like to have a choir, to see the differences. I think it would be fun to perform in a Choir.
-Wesley K.
Dear Mr Avery’s class,
We loved the Lion King song. I have the movie of the Lion King. Do you?
From Liam in 2MD.
Dear Liam,
The Lion king song was my favorite song in the concert. I do have the lion king movie.
An excellent film, if you ask me.
From, Wesley K.
Dear Liam,
I also liked the “Lion King” songs. My favorite of the two would have to be the circle of life. But I also enjoyed “Hakuna Matata.” But I don’t own the “Lion king’ movie but I do love to watch it if its ever on TV.

Dear Mr. Avrey’s class.
We loved your video.
Solomon likes the doctors because they’re funny and he also likes the dinosaur skull that you showed in the video! What other dino bones did you see at the museum? I think it would be so cool if you saw a t-rex scull! What kind of dino did you show in the video? Did you see any pre-hestoric birds?
I liked the whole video, your school is so cool.
Your blogging buddies,
Solomon and Mia:)
From Mrs. Watson’s Class
Dear Solomon and Mia,
Well to answer your first question I don’t believe we saw any more dinosaur bones. Then to answer your second question I believe its name is the Triceratops. Thanks for commenting We hope you comment again.
