This week, enjoy meeting Mr. Avery’s class of fourth graders in Plympton, Massachusetts. We are a group of 8 girls and 7 boys.
Listen to our VoiceThread to learn a little bit more about our class, our school, and our town!
Take a look through our blog and feel free to ask any questions! You may enjoy our video section with our endangered animal projects we did earlier this year or check out our challenge page and see if you can figure out our Weekly Challenge!

Mrs. Watson’s class lives on a tiny island called Santila in British Columbia Canada. We had a really fun time! If you want to see the post you can look on her blog. I love quad blogging. My favorite part about quad bloging is meeting new quad blogging friends!
We have three Golden Rules. The three Golden Rules are hands to yourself, use the appropriate language , and treat others the way you want to be treated. I think the Golden Rules remind us to be nice to people.
I have a few questions for you…

I’m getting confused – which class are you with and where?
What grade are you in?
Have you heard of Plympton, Massachusetts?
Just so you know, the person who said “Hey, Mr. Avery that’s me!” was Trey. In our class we are learning about fractions and what the fractions are equivalent to.
Sincerely,
Natalie S. π ♥

Dear Mr. Avery and Class,
I loved the VoiceThread that you and your class made!
In our class we make slide shows of the projects we do in class.
My favorite post on our blog was the “Matter Matters.” It is all about matter. Did you learn about matter in your class? What are you learning right now?
We have lots of different kinds of restaurants in our area. My favorite kind of restaurant is one that serves sushi. Some of the kinds of food the restaurants in our area serve are: American, Italian, Chinese, and Thai.
Warmly,
Philip (from Mrs. Ranneyβs class)
Dear Phillip,
Thanks for writing on the blog! Yes in class, we did lean about matter. We learned about matter in either second grade or third grade. The teachers said that matter is any thing that takes up space. We are learning fractions but, we took a break and we are getting ready for the reading comprehension. Did you learn about fractions yet? What are you learning now?
Sincerely,
Natalie S.
Dear Mr. Avery,
Hello, I am Carly from Mrs. Ranney’s class in California. I really enjoyed your enthralling video! It seems like your school is busy with over 200 students. My school has only a bit more. We have about 600 students attending our school.
I remember when one girl mentioned the teams that you like to cheer for in Massachesetts. My dad loves to watch the games in basketball when it is Bosten against the Lakers. All of my family roots for the Los Angeles Lakers.
What is your favorite sport to play and to watch on television?
I really enjoy playing soccer and softball.
Do you play soccer or softball ever?
Also, do you do P.E. in your gym, or do you do it outside?
