Over the past few weeks, we have been doing a Chris van Allsburg author study. In class, we read one of his books, The Z was Zapped. The story is set as a play where each letter is involved in some sort of action. That action begins with the same letter. One example would be “The A was in the Avalanche.” This is called an alliteration. As a class project, each student picked a letter, created their own alliteration, and then illustrated that alliteration. Below is our result!
